Precaution - Recognising a problem in good time helps immensely, especially if it results in prompt treatment. We recommend a blood test once a year from the age of 6 years. Heart examinations from around 7 years of age (dogs) and 10 years of age (cats).

Ultrasound of the abdomen, especially the spleen of large dog breeds once a year from 5 years of age. Spleen tumours are a very common type of tumour in dogs and we can save many dogs through timely diagnosis.

Vaccinations - We adhere to the recommendations of the permanent Vaccination Commission Vet according to the motto: „As little as possible, as much as necessary“. Naturally, we use modern, adjuvant-free vaccines for this.

Parasites - Nobody wants fleas, ticks and mites in their bed. And let's be honest - many of our dogs and cats sleep with us in our beds. As a vet, however, we are particularly afraid of diseases transmitted by parasites. Many of you will have heard of Lyme disease, anaplasmosis and TBE. We can take precautions against these.
