Oncology, tumour diagnostics
Precision
in diagnosis and therapy
Tumours are a very common reason for presentation at our practice. But not every palpable „lump“ is a tumour. In order to be able to give you the best possible advice and help your pet in a targeted manner, we need a diagnosis - i.e. a sample of a tumour.
In many cases, this is possible using a gentle fine needle biopsy. Even without anaesthetic. Today, we know the biological behaviour of various tumours very precisely. If we know what the tumour is, we can provide the best possible help. In addition to tumour surgery, there is also the option of chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
We will discuss with you what makes sense for your pet.
